HEERA SANTHOSH

Heera Santhosh, based out of Michigan, is a sophomore at Columbia University, studying Neuroscience on the pre-medical professional track. As one of the two co-founders here at Aid2Day, she maintains, oversees, and plans the entire holistic strategy for the organization. When she isn't doom scrolling through our Slack workspace, you can find her rollerblading, Thai restaurant-hopping, indulging in her M&Ms addiction, scrapbooking, spending hours on end in the lab working on her neurodegenerative rehabilitation research, and travelling.

KAVYA AMBATI
Co-Founder
Kavya Ambati is a sophomore in the direct osteopathic medical program at Nova Southeastern University, double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. As part of Aid2Day, she is eager to see the organization’s mission grow and flourish alongside its dedicated volunteers. When she isn’t immersed in research on how a low-sodium, high-protein diet impacts Meniere’s patients—looking out the window of her lab, overlooking the docks—she’s likely journaling, getting lost in a good book, or diving headfirst into a new hobby. From crocheting to bead embroidery to her latest hyper fixation, card tricks, she’s always finding new ways to keep her hands busy.

SAHANA DHAMA
Editor-in-Chief
Sahana Dhama, originally from Long Island, is a sophomore at Cornell University, majoring in Human Biology, Health and Society with a minor in Health Care Policy on the pre-medical track. She is thrilled to serve as the Editor in Chief of Aid2Day, where she can combine her love for writing, advocacy, research and mentorship. When she is not rereading Land of Stories or Where the Crawdads Sing, Sahana can be found binging her favorite tv shows (How I Met Your Mother, Friends and Suits), walking her adorable cavapoo or exploring Ithaca for a new restaurant/sweet treat spot.

Outside of her research on breast cancer metastasis, Vidhi enjoys writing short stories, dancing to Bollywood music, and crafting detailed food crawl plans for bucket list destinations.
